I have a pain in my stomach....?
Hello Yahoo! answers friends...
I've been having a pain in my stomach when I press on it... like on the right side of my body right next to and a little below the belly button.
When I press on the left side in the same area, there's no pain.
It also feels kinda tight to the touch, and the stomach should be kinda squishy.
I was wondering if anyone knew what this might be, or if they've had this before?
Thanks in advance!

Could be appendicitis...go to a doc, it is worth getting it checked out. Does the pain come after you press (like when you release the pressure), or does the pain occur during the pressing? Rebound pain (which is the 1st option above) is one of the cardinal signs of appendicitis--which could kill you if it ruptures. Do you have nausea of vomiting? If it were me, I would go to the doc...don't play russian roulette w/ your health, you only have one body after all!
Good luck!

This may sound like a stupid question, but are your bowels regular?? can it be your constipated? I know that ,that if they are cloged, you can get mega gas pains in the right side of your stomach! but if thats not it, if it doesn't go away by tomorrow, go and see a doctor! Better safe then sorry!

its either your appendix, gallbladder (stones), or gas.. lay face down with a pillow under your stomach for awhile and see if you fart a lot, bc it could just be gas.. if the pain persists, then visit your dr.bc the person who gave the first answer is right, appendicitis can be dangerous

Seems more like Kidney stones then your appendix, I would go to your doc, get an x-ray to see if you have stones and he can feel your stomach to determine if their an issue with your appedix.

Hi, if pain persists or becomes more pain, go see doctor, coz shouldn't wait for it to get worse
