Will you please do more to help stop this than just hitting the report button?
If you see posts that are very detailed and offensive in regards to child abuse and child pornography, won't you please help rid this site of it by writing to the Yahoo! Answers team at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com with the subject line STOP CHILD ABUSE and tell them about the user profile you'd like them to examine for possible permanent removal?
For more details, please take a look at tiger_lily57's profile for the question posted on how we all need to band together to stop this.
It doesn't matter what level you are. You have the power to do this to protect this site.
Thank you.
I know many will try to come back with another I.D., but Yahoo! has a way to identify their IP address and can refuse to allow that to participate if they choose. I know they can then go to a library or something, but the odds are slimmer. What we need to do is to make it as inconvenient as possible for these people to spew their disgusting ideas as possible. We need to make them the ones who feel uncomfortable here by making our opposition known.

That sounds like a good idea, but when you report them and they remove them from the site they just sign up with a different user name. I know because I reported someone then they came back with the same avatar but a different user name. So how are we to be sure that writing the Y! Answers team is going to get them off permanently? I usually do report someone that's asking about kids under 18 or has some sick question, or avatar.

Unfortunately, quite a few people are too lazy to extend the necessary effort, even if they do have the morals to realize what should or shouldn't be on this site.
Too bad, I suppose. I did give you a thumbs up for bringing this to our attention though. Thanks.
