I accidently gave a thumbs down instead of up. Can this be changed?

Now a very good answer has a bad rating! How do I fix this?

    you can 't change it but it doesn't really matter anyway the asker will still choose the answer they like best. At least you know that your intentions were good.

    Sadly there is nothing you can do about it. I gave a thumbs up to a horrible question the other day. It was one of those "Why do you hate_________" questions. Sorry, but those are just a waste of time.

    I've also accidentally done this. Unfortunately, once you rate a question or answer, you can't rate it again.

    Nothing. I gave "best answer" to the wrong person the other day too. LOL
