Americans - Is there really another country you would rather live in?
I would love to visit other countries but I hear so many negative things on Answers about the US. Honestly, I can't imagine living somewhere else. Can you? Why and Where?

I would love to visit other countries for extended periods & perhaps live there for short periods of time, but I would never in the world ever leave the US permanently.
The US has so many other freedoms that other countries don't have. Things that we consider basic standards here are in very short supply in other countries or even non-existent.'

I can't imagine it either. I've been to other countries and some of them are pretty and have good food and all that but big deal. I wouldn't live anywhere else. I love it here. Other countries are just a nice place to visit.

Sometimes I wish I did.....I think maybe Australia sometimes or the UK. I think I would get along fine in either after I learn my way around and the terminology of the country. It's usually when I get fed up with the government BS. I know that no country's politics are perfect but sometimes living here (the USA) is just so frustrating.....

Of course not!! I've visited over 20 countries...and I would NEVER live anywhere else!! I love America. Complaining about the US is "trendy" right now... People in other countries complaining?? Who cares?!!! People in America complaining?? Why don't you get the **** out?? You are FREE to go remember? And, good riddance!

Yes, one of my own creation! One man actually did just that! He acquired an abandoned oil drilling platform in the English channel and he petitioned the UN to recognize his little man made island as a nation with its own soveriegnty and he was accepted by the UN,and he now sells stamps that are specific to his own country! If he can found his own nation why can't anyone else?

Not really. Whenever I visit another country, I think I'd like to live there...but it's not long before I miss my comfort and conveniences.

New Zealand, my friend. Great weather, beautiful countryside, they speak English and nobody's trying to blow them up. Plus, the economy isn't bad. Plenty of work, if you're a professional. College degree preferred. That, and they run on 220V power. You get toast faster.
