  • what does 'this answer is below your threshold" mean?

I see it on the side of some answers. there is a link to click to read the answer if you want and I can't find the reason some answers aren't just listed along with the others.

  • I'm having trouble with my monitor. help please?

The colors are all stupid. the blues are too blue and all the same shade of blue. The reds and yellows are real bright and orange. It looks like an old picture tube TV gone bad. I tried the buttons on the front of the monitor but none of them change the color, only the shape and the brightness. Do I need a new monitor? My family is on the computer alot.

  • What is the deal?

I'm sitting here in the den playing on the computer. The TV is on in the other room. I can hear it but I'm too lazy to get up and turn it off.

    Anyway, here's my question.

Do people really give a crap about Star Jones and whatever it is that happened on "the view"? They've been talking about it for 45 minutes now and I can't imagine careing less. Who cares enough for it to be on for almost an hour? Who watches this? I'm a bit fasinated. It's like a train wreck. I can't turn away from.

  • Am I the only one...?

Who is sick to death of the Christian "right" running everyones show for them? I feel as if my faith has been handed over to the people with the loudest voices. I'm NOT conservitive. I'm pro Gay rights. I voted for Al Gore and I'm a Christian. Please don't speak for me.

  • 20 somethings.talk to me?

I attend a very liberal progressive Church. (The United Church of Christ) We are the ones that had the advertising that was banned from some major networks. (see site www.stillspeaking.com)

I just went to a workshop where I learned that 80% of people in thier 20's do not attend Chruch. That number was staggering to me. Can you young people tell me why you don't go? Is it boring? Do you not feel welcome? I'd like to work on this with my local church. Give me you're ideas. What could I say or do that would help you feel welcome? And, how many of you have attended church in the past? What was missing for you?
