What are you going to do when your Mom get a knife and will try to kill your Dad?

The same thing I would have done if it was my dad trying to hurt (or hurt) my mom. What do you think... ? If your dad did something to hurt your mom (slap her around or beat her up) and you did nothing, then you were wrong in not calling the police then. So, if she's going to ambush him and hurt/kill him, she'll go to jail and disrupt the entire family. Better to speak with your mom and let her know of the possible consequences; she may not be thinking right and be in need of some counseling. You may let other family members know, in case there's one that is close enough with your mom that she can speak with her and help resolve the problem. Good luck and best wishes.

Well in terms of etiquette this behaviour is perfectly acceptable so long as it is the correct knife - for example - if you were just finishing a 3 course meal and the cheeseboard was on the table - it would be considered "bad form" for her to stab him with - say - a fish knife - a cheese knife would however be perfectly acceptable.

You must act quickly to spare your mother the embarassment of using the wrong knife - you know how the girls in D wing get. If in doubt remember - work from the outside in.

I think you should call the po po to come help your dad, he must have done some messed up sh** to have your momma chasing him with a knife, or she is just crazy... either way it is a bad bad situation and I am sorry.

i'm sorry mate, however the way I see it, in case you do no longer call the police that's basically going to worsen. Or a minimum of call somebody who could be waiting to help the area. If it is getting to the ingredient of that style of violence, I hate to declare it yet i do no longer think of you have a decision, in spite of the implications. you will experience sorry approximately it extra if he does finally end up heavily hurting you or your mom. Are you assuming this is going to happen? Mine are divorced, and I have lived on my own for awhile now. I am pretty sure I wouldn't hear about it until after the fact.

Well for your fathers safety you need to call the police and your mom needs to get help.

Call 911. If you have a neighbor you trust, then go there to call.
