Are the virtues ?

Prudence, temperance, justice, and courage - are these discussed anymore? Do parents teach them? (Not to mention the Christian developments of these - how about the pagan ones?)

    Yes, values are still taught by some and held in high regard. However, I still wonder why they don't seem as important today as they were eons ago when I grew up. Even such simple things like respect and common courtesy can be rare at times. I wonder if it is the same in other countries like it is in the US, or is it just us? What can we do to turn the tide? I try to be a good example, but I wish I could do more.
