get through school...but try to get a part-time office job...this will HELP you tremendously when you graduate from college....also enjoy yourself....find a girl and or boyfriend (be mature about it and don't let this person waste your time either...focus on school still) and life just has a way of fixing itself...but you have to do the work)

No it's not, I know what it's like to study your heart out and you see someone who barely comes to class or turns in any work, get a higher grade than you. It's very discouraging. You are doing the right thing. Keep doing what you are doing, but do it harder. Let the teacher know that you are trying your hardest and tell him/her that you are discouraged. My best friend barely studied and made almost straight A's and I studied way ahead of time and graduated with barely a 3.0. It will be okay, what matters is that you have done your best. Just keep it up.

I've always been the kid who got 100% just for remembering the right answer and I always felt bad that all the work doesn't count for anything and it doesn't remember if you remember what you learn forever and I forget it as soon as the test is over. I would talk to the teacher and see if he/she will give any credit for doing homework or extra research.
