Why is it that folks on Answers don't have money for a doctor but ....?

Good question!

People will pay lotsa $ for entertainment so they can sit all day and surf the net, not getting any physical activity (not contributing to good health), yet something responsible like a Dr's bill is too costly! Maybe that would take away $ from the smokes budget!

It's all about priorities!

Yes how dare people get sick and expect to continue leading normal lives like the rest of us... we should immediately blast them off on a rocket to "Planet Sick" and let the rest of us pampered people live in peace, luxury and richness, forever more.

Hey maybe if doctors weren't expensive as they are, more people would be able to afford them. You ever think of that? People can't be expected to stop living just because they are unfortunate enough to have ill health. They are just as much a part of this world as everybody else. Truthfully I think poorer people, and those who make just enough to survive, should be getting free health-care, funded from the taxes of rich people. That makes total sense to me.

By the time you get finished with a Dr., you have to pay for all kinds of tests and prescriptions. One visit can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Many people cannot afford medical ins.

I see most of these losers tying up the computers at the public library for hours because they don't work, or they are kids using computers their parents bought

I agree with bear - it's all about priorities. People tend to live in the moment rather than planning for the future.
