Does the Republican Party worry about sexual morality because they themselves are sexually immoral?

Th National Republican party do not worry about sexual immorality. They only make an issue out of it as the vast majority of their donors are right wing Christians that want it to be an issue. (Why was Jerry Falwell reading Hustler?)

It is also a good distraction from the short comings of the Republican party platform. It is easier to rant and rave about sex than it is to fix the social and economic mess our nation is in. It is also free to do and hard to argue against.

Why focus on a real issue in America when you can rant about something no one can defend with out looking like a pervert?

Seriously, morality or lack thereof is not political. Great and moral people (and less than great and immoral) are on both sides of the aisle.

It's just that your average practicing Christian striving for morality tends to feel more affiliation with the beliefs of the Republican party. It's not the party that dictates morality...
