what was your reaction to Napoleon Dynamite the 1st time you seen it?

oh my gosh, that was my high school. (i'm from rural maine)

I have only seen 15 minutes of it before I shut it off, took it out of my player, and sent it back to Netflix.

I will never watch the full thing of that movie. I found it highly stupid and boring and have no clue how it got such a cult following.

I was blown away, it was so different than any movie recently. It was good clean humor that was still new and fun, I was surprised MTV thought it up. It's unfortunate now that the actor who played Napolean will be type-cast from now on into only Napolean-similar characters.

My reaction was reaction-less. I didnt like it and i actually found reasons not to see it. I went down stairs to buy more popcorn. I forgot my cell phone in the restroom. I am all out of soda. All and many more reasons to get out of the theathre. Once i saw it at home i actually liked it. This was a movie about nothing.

omg, i luved that movie. I'm such a nerd, i have so much napoleon stuff, but that movie is just so awesome and stupid in a funny way, ya kno??

I thought it was absolutely one of the worst movies I had ever seen. It took me forever to like it at all.

It was completely rubbish it had no point at all no real plot or anything however my mate loves it and is obsessed by it for some strange reason quoting lines all the time

Stunned hilarity then forcing those I suspected would like it to watch it.

(My wife and I were geekish in high school so we laughed and laughed. My brother and his wife were the popular kids and didn't find it all that amusing) (You have to experience being the cast-off to understand.)

At first I thought it was extremely stupid and fell asleep half way through. I watched it again, though, and thought it was funny...so funny that I watched it two more times! It's good, clean humor.
