I have been a member of almost ALL of the internet sites...and I have only physically met one girl in all of that time! Part of the problem is me...I'm sure..but most of the time a girl either gives you her phone number too fast or too slow.......I always do better with people I meet in person....you know if there is chemistry or not and there is no surprise when you first meet. Good luck!...and always meet for the first time in a public spot and tell someone if plans change or you go somewhere else! Better to be safe than sorry! Have a great day!

My fiance and I met online chatting in Yahoo! in March of 2000....

Who knew that 6 years later we would have a two year old daughter, bought a house and I would be moving from Australia to the US to live for a few years...

We didnt meet eachother until 2002 so we talked for a very, very, very long time before we thought about meeting. We also had no expectations...if we didnt mesh then that would be that and we would be friends (I had my doubts with this senerio).

But all this time later we are about to get married, we have one baby girl and are planning another shortly after...who would have guessed!

I was never planning this and neither was he...he didnt even like white girls before he started talking to me (he's African-American). Just take your time...talk to people online and dont just go to the dating sites.

You might just find what you want when you least expect it....

I haven't but my friend tried a Christian dating service on a trial basis and got some strange men that responded with "I know we are meant to be together" without knowing anything more than her looks, career and basic analysis of her. CREEPY!!! She didn't get a membership due to this experience.

I have played with the idea of signing up but gosh, I just hope and pray I'll meet someone in my many social circles.

I met my boyfriend online 5 months ago. we are a PERFECT match. I used...ummm...heh...a site called Gothic Match. but that's just what we're into, so that's how he found me. there's Yahoo's dating service, match.com, true.com and a bunch of others. I didn't really have much luck on any of those. and I don't recommend eHarmony.

I tried Plenty Of Fish and Match.com.

Match.com was far better - I met a great girl there and we are currently very happy.

haven't tried online dating also.. but if you are having problem with the people that you meet, much more on online dating coz they can 'fool or lie' as much as they can, especially that we haven't seen them....

How I wish i had one but I never had and did not have enough time for that kind of thing.
