My plumber turned into a crackhead and I need HELP!!?

just fixed the same problem,could be one of two.the smell is most definity from the washer.your drain hose might be too high up or too low,but to high proably.or you have been putting to many chemicals down your drains and you have killed off too much or all of the bacteria that breaks down the solid waste in your septic tank.get some ridd x and even bakers yeast ans the smell will slowly go once you rebuild the bacteria.trust me i own 51 properties all on septics and i run into this all the time.it the tank was full your drains would back up.another possibly though as i mentioned is the hose position may not be letting the washer drain properly and the water in the punp and hose is souring.

Sounds like one of two or both problems:

1. Waste pipe has no "P" trap that would allow for water to drain and stop in an elbow where methane vapor (what your smelling) to return up the pipe.

2. Septic tank is full, and probably needs to be emptied, You could also try Rid X, this will help reduce the odor.

Look under septic tank service in the phone book. have them come out and pump it out, You should have this done once a year. Use Rid X every two months or so, you can use a pound of yeast in leu of Rid X

your septic system might be full call a plumber........

Hm, isnt the crack usually on the other end?
