why are so many questions repeated?
(1) many questions are repeated, over and over? Why is this? Is it because many are randomly generated by IA software, based on the (few) real ones?
(2) when browsing through pages of questions, the very same question can reappear many times - are these pags, or not? Why can't questions be sorted better?

Because most people are stupid.. and about 80% of the questions asked here can be answered by a smart google query, i cannot understand why people google it before asking.
meanwhile, nice question.

No, no, no! I know what he means. When scrolling through the pages of questions, some of them are repeated several times over two or three pages. They are the same question, asked by the same person. I've been wondering this too. Is there a generator that puts the questions in repeatedly? Not all of the questions do this, but I have seen a whole page duplicated one or two pages later in the list.

For the second question: it seems that people post questions faster than you can browse through them at you end up getting stuck in the same area over and over, if you keep going back to the beginning you'll see the new questions up, but if you page forward you end up doing it at the same rate the questions are coming up. most annoying. it seems like it could be adjusted by some web/tech specialist at yahoo answers so that you keep paging forward from whereever you are, or something less annoying.

If I didn't know you asked this question, should I just assume you or someone else did?
Some people need answers quickly and searching questions is hardly a matter of life and death.
