How to sing with attitude and soul?

First off successful singers are the ones who can convey with their words and their voice something special sounding to the listener. To sing like that you have to have emotion, that's all just emotion if it's Blues it's got emotion, Rock, the same, even Classical the best all have that one special way of singing , they sing out of emotion. ....Be-Bop-a-Lu-La ..

Think back to past experiences and relate to that about your lost loves or relationships and make music from your soul.

I don't really feel it's something that can be taught. attitude and soul is just who you are..... with the risk of sounding corny, just feel the music. Let it fill you up listen to the words, relate.

You don't have to take lessons to learn how to project.

It is nothing more than breathing exercises, presence and dedication, and you can find the first one on line...

Join a good choir....it's likely free and you will be taught techniques that will help you to sing better
