Pimples, breakouts?

I have been having the same problem, and I was not a spotty teen either.

I get them on my face and neck, and sometimes they get really sore. I was told it sounded like a hormone imbalance. I wanted to know why there was a hormone imbalance, but as yet I have no answer.

A different doctor is sending me for a blood test as she wants to see if there is a reason why my immune system may not be working as it should. I believe my blood sugar levels are to be checked so I guess diabetes is a possible reason.

I can totally understand how you're feeling, it gets me down sometimes, which probably doesn't help.

I can only suggest that you ask for blood tests to see if there is a definite reason such as hormones or a weakened immune system. Lets hope we both get answers soon, or perhaps we could get our teenage bodies back to go with the spots.lol.xxx

are u having regular sex? with a woman? it sounds like something is wrong with your hormones. also maybe u have not proper for your skin shave foam or after shave balm and maybe razors are not so sharp - so u irritate your skin too much. u might go see a doctor, they will make u have blood test and very often they prescribe tetrocecline anthibiotics during very long period. can't say whether it helps - i stopped taking them cos i got bored. but those pimples re very treatable (well, as they say)

I still get them on my neck from shaving and I'm 27. I haven't had acne on the rest of my face in years. I think it is just a side effect of razor burn.

This is normal. You can receive pimples at any age at any time in your life.

adult acne go to a doctor and get it checked out or try Proactiv
