Can Lysol kill bed bugs? If not what can because I will bring it with me when I go away this weekend?

I was watching the news last night and these people were eaten up by bed bugs all over their body from a hotel they stayed at and I dont want that to be me. I also know that it is the hotels job to be clean but I want to really make sure

Update:

jessie if you would have seen these peoples skin you would be afraid to it looked like they had the mosquito sized chicked poxs

By a plastic bed cover for the size of bed you plan to sleep in and take it with you. Place it on top of the hotel bed sheets and I would bring my own sheet, pillow, and blanket to sleep with. Then you know you are safe the bed bugs can not get through the plastic.

Bedbugs are becoming a big problem in major cities in the USA. Lysol will not kill bed bugs. DDT will, but it's illegal. A good bug spray, like Deep Woods Off will help you from being bitten.

There's not much you could do in the short time you were at the hotel. You could spray them and they may not die by the time you leave.

If you are flying, you won't be able to take anything to spray with anyway.

It is a relatively rare thing. It's probably more likely you will die on the way there than be attacked by bed bugs.

    Cheers!

Bedbugs are not an easy thing to get rid of. I don't think Lysol will do the job, sorry. You would need real insecticides which take a lot of time to use properly.

bed bugs are an epidemic in cincinnati because of people buying used beds I know it's gross , but we had to have a cleaning service come to our dialysis unit to clear ours up after a few patients had them so no lysol won't do it . gl/

This is the Lysol Product you need. It's called Lysol Concentrate. You put it in the washing machine and it will kill and disinfect everything.

You can buy it at most stores, but it has to be this one: http://www.lysol.com/solutionsfinder_apcleaners.sh...

If you are sleeping on a mattress that has bugs in it that bite, you need a new mattress. The only thing I can think of that would be biting them is flies from an animal. You can get spray for flies and spray the mattress and let it air for about an hour before making the bed.

All mattresses are filled with mites. They come from you. That will never go away.
