Once you buy a base ticket at any WDW theme park, can you leave the park and return the same day??

Yes you can definitely leave and come back the same day. They will stamp your hand and when you return, you need to present the original ticket and show them the stamp on your hand. Have fun!

You can return to the same park. You cannot go to another park on the same day unless you buy a separate ticket or selected the park hopper option.

Yes you can leave and re-enter. They do not stamp your hands any more (at least at Magic Kingdom). When you enter the Park for the first time you insert the ticket into the reader and they scan your index and middle finger, then when you re-enter you repeat the process.

Yes, but only if you get your hand stamped. So be sure to get it stamped by a cast member on your way out!

Yes, but it has to be the same park. For example, you cannot leave Magic Kingdom and then go to Epcot. For that you would need the Park Hopper option. (which I have purchased twice and never used!!)

Normally you can get your hand stamped

They do everything elctronically now, but I think they will also stamp your hand if you ask!
