Hip hop attitudes to women?

All those rappers are probably terrified of women so slag them off in their songs, its degrading and very sick and a very bad influence on vulnerable kids too, you are right there is no difference between them and greasy old pimps, except they make money out of what they call music too, very sick and sad.

I agree. Anyone who capitalizes on the degradation and suffering of other human beings has sold his soul to the devil. There will always be followers and idolizers of those with great amounts of money, as if money justifies anything or everything. I am sorry for young people who cannot remember a time in society when people had the morals and good sense to be ashamed if they portrayed themselves as lacking these things.

its because all the rappers want to seem as if they're cool, and supposedly, the more people they can randomly have sex with is cool.

The attitude towards women is very backward, the whole scenario of rappers is backward. They want to be seen as making money, and having power.

Money = Power

Power = Respect

its dumb and sad really.

Its a way of life- and a form of speeche.

Rappers speak like that because, they want to save their reputation....however, its a different story when its behind closed doors.

Its the whole fantasy of being looked after, by someone strong and tough

Actually I don't think they're cool. I can't stand people that act like that so don't overgeneralize.
