what does AscH- mean??

doing a lab report on ascorbate

didn't know if AscH- means ascobate or ascorbic acid

    If those are the two choices, then they are the same thing. The only difference is that ascorbate refers to the negatively charged portion of the acid, and ascorbic acid refers to the whole molecule. So AscH, which includes the acidic H portion, will technically refer to ascorbic acid.
