Does mutual masturbation count as cheating?
My wife and I have extremely different sex drives (mine is very high, hers very low). I have been speaking with an ex in the same situation (except hers is high and her hubby's is low). I have been friends with the ex for a while. If my ex and I would get together and mutually masturbate (not touching each other, just in front of each other) would it be considered cheating?
I am not really consider doing this but I thought it posed an interesting question and would like others opinions.

SUGAR coat how ever you want...you're being unfaithful to your wife.
Your wife should seek out medical advice as to why her limbido is low. it could be hormonal!
You are risking your marriage by even thinking about what you've written above. and if you think any one on here that read your crap is going to believe that NO touching...just voyering will be going on...I'll sell you swamp land on the Mojave Desert!

I hope it does not count as cheating. I m single, myself, but my friend s girlfriend and I hang out sometimes and it sure would be ideal if she d consent to Mutual Masturbation. If she s convinced that it s not cheating, I fail to see a downside to the encounter.

That is absolutely cheating. Anything of a sexual or intimate nature with another person outside of the marriage is cheating.
It's easy to know - Would you want your wife to witness you? If not, then it's cheating!

Well...if your wife found out I am certain that she would consider it as cheating and your world would never be the same again.
Besides.....do you really think you could keep it at masturbating and not take it to the next level? I think it would be very difficult.

While I understand your dilemma, it is cheating. Anytime you do or say something that you would not do if your wife was standing next to you, is considered cheating.
I'm curious though, why did you divorce the ex that your currently friends with? I'd like to continue the conversation if you would. My email address is sassybree1979@yahoo.com.
Anyway, good luck.

I believe that ANYTHING you do with someone else that you would NOT do in front of your partner should be considered cheating- whether its something as simple as a "special" hug. Anything of sexual nature is DEFINATELY classified as cheating- then again, there are couples that live open marriages and are ok with their partner sleeping with someone else and even those that invite others into their bedroom- so as long as your partner is ok with it, i dont think it would be cheating.

If your current wife knows about it then it's not cheating ... if she doesn't know about it ... I would consider that cheating ... I know how much it turns my man on to watch me masturbate I couldn't imagine him doing it with another woman ... especially an ex ... you two shared sexual experiences already ... that would make me feel very insecure if my man did that ... !

Yes it is cheating, but that is just as wrong as keeping a spouse sexually frustrated and inactive. Two wrongs don't make a right but in this case I say jerk away.
