We adopted this child when she was 6. She had been a product of the DCFS foster system. Yeserday morning she stole around $8 from my wallet. I confronted her and the inevitable LIE denial. I told her that I would take $10 from her savings from her vacation savings if she didn't return my $$$. The verbage from her mouth was unreal and she accused me of stealing her $$. I made it clear as a bell. Return the money she took out of my wallet and I'll replace her money back into the vacation fund. NEVER HAPPENED!

This child has everything and anything, nice home, nice things, she's the only child left at home etc. She LIES and STEALs. She just recently got off probation for STEALING A VAN and joy riding for an hour. Juvenile hall...probation etc.

WHAT IS A MOM/DAD supposed to do? Live like a prisoner in their own home with dead bolt locks on everything? This kid has no respect for this house. I don't deserve this!!

When there are Millions of Americans coexisting in the US with out the benefits of Healthcare do you forsee the US government and congress ever opening their blind eyes to the fact that AMERICA needs an over haul where HEALTH benefits are concerned. The US is the only country that doesn't have Social Medicine.

It would take away the need for Medicaid and State relief. Everyone would be taxed according to how many people reside in the household. When I lived in Australia I paid approximately $10 a month for social medicine benefits (that was in 1980) I'm sure there have been increases but AMERICA and it's UNinsured need to do something.

I'm one of those millions in the US with no medical insurance. Employers these days are not providing this as a benefit anymore and leave the employee to their own devices. Insurance for health in the US is outrageous and basically not affordable to those who need it!!

Do you forsee this every changing?

Have you ever wondered where all that old Data Processing equipment from the early 60's, 70's and even 80's went to? The old 024, 026, 059, Univac machines---that all required boxes and boxes of cards that at the time was called KEY PUNCH...now in the 90's and 2000's it's called DATA ENTRY?

I've often wondered where all this equipment went too. Did they put all this equipment in some recyle bin and crush it all. What about all the boxes and boxes of DATA on those punched cards. Did someone put this up in a big inferno?

My son was in a tragic motorcycle accident 12/8/06. He suffered a crushed left leg, knee cap, foot, and fractured vertabrae as well as a broken rib in his back. As his MOM i live in illinois he lives in California----I've tried calling him to see how he's doing only to be told he's busy visiting with friends and he hangs up on me.

How can I get through to him that I'm concerned? Why is he being this way?

My husband has an 18 1/2 yr old daughter from a previous marriage...This kid only contacts her father when she wants $$$. The latest excapade is the WANT for a new car. She hasn't saved her money and needs $4,000.00. (i don't have it) Unbeknownst to me until last night...hubby tells me we're to get a loan for this kid from our equity loan on our HOME. I told him NO. I told him his kid needed to stand on her own to feeties! I told him I need a new roof on our home, paint for our bedroom (not painted in 11 yrs) a new coat and new winter shoes! He says's she'll pay us back...HOW can she do that working part-time at DQ (15-18hrs a week) and pay on the loan her mother is getting for her too? I'm sorry but am I being totally unreasonable?

I can help her with maybe $300.00 but not $4,000!!!

Anna Nicole Smith, Howard Stern and the other dude that has crawled out of the woodwork claiming to be the father of Anna Nicole's child. So much attention has been placed on her sleezy ways and appearances. If this had been some common JANE in Hollywood.......no one would've given a RATS rear....but put a celebrity topless dancer that was married to a billionaire in the mix...and the paparrozzi is frinzied!!

When a person has been on the JOB 4 years and the boss keeps piling more and more on them and no compensations as far as a raise. In 4 years the raise has been 50c and you know you're the lowest paid person in the office. Closing files, Accounts Receivable, Customer Services, Pre-paid Billing of insurances, Bi monthly Statements, Payment Arrangments, Collections, collection calls, Computer backup, and doing all these things and more until you feel overwelmed. And...I forgot the mounds of filing and no file clerks to help with this!

No benefits, No health insurance....really nothing to keep you on this job except longivity (the comfortable shoe).

Boss has a double standard and a code of ethics for himself but is not a good role example for the employees...after all he's the BOSS.. (ATTORNEY)

Let's say.....you've been married for 12 yrs and you have a spouse that is controlling, undermines everything you do or say leaving you speechless and appalled. and to make matters worse doesn't consult you on the important things and even undermines you when you've have diciplined the last remaining child in the house. What do you do? What do you say. How can you stand up to this individual who Has an opinion on everything and is Stupid about so many things?

When your teen daughter is rude, violates house rules, sneaks, and steals from wallet. is currently on probation for stealing my car and getting caught!!

Any suggestions out there consequential type dicipline? Taking away TV, cell phone, priviledges....dont' seem to phase this kid.

This man used to live in Sacramento, then Upper Lake California. Searches on the web have been unsucessful. He used to work as a mechanic in Calistoga and also Ukiah area. Surely someone out there knows this man.

Vacation is planned for California. Arriving September 1, 2006 at the Burbank Airport. What are things to see, to do, places to Eat near Palmdale California. Visiting family and haven't a clue what's there because we've never been there before. HELP us so we don't look like Mid-West tourists.

I've been watching on television and there are constant references on some of the dance competitions of East Coast Hip/Hop, West Coast Hip/Hop and POP. Personally I don't see a difference in any of them. Enlighten me with responses to the question above

You're faced with a dilema of hating your job so much that the very thought of going to work each day is a chore. Your employer is a DUE WE CHEATEM AND HOW (attorney) and at this point the practices of lying and deception are just to the point it compromises what you believe in. He takes their trust monies, He doesn't refund their monies when it's due them. When the client's fire the firm he makes these unhappy clients come in for what he calls a close out meeting only to give the client false hopes of a possible refund! He demands that I create time so that there is no refund due. He's had numerous ARDC complaints only to have one of the firms lawyers bail him out with the legal jargon that they do. What on earth should I do? I need a JOB!!

This neighbor of 9 years has made so many visits to my front door in the last month that I've lost count. It's gotten to the point that I don't even want to sit out on my front porch or even appear in my front yard due to this neighbors intrusiveness. I've tried not engaging her in conversation, I've tried just getting up and going in the house when I see her coming, (she only rings the doorbell then). She appeared at my home 5x yesterday with the latest visit at 8:15pm to borrow a kitchen item. HELP....me.....I'm more of the ROSANNE type neighbor....
