he didnt ask me about it- he told me, and he said that you wouldnt notice it because unless you wake up in the middle of your dream, itd be gone
found it!! ( www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi/_qua4002/is_20050/ai_n9483450 )"during rem...temp is 'impaired' so a sleeper doesnt sweat when hot or shiver from cold" :) i then found a number of sleep disorders that described sweating as a definite sign..... geuss he either made it up, or the teacher had it wrong. thanks for your help!

I studied psychology to a very high standard at university (England). Sweating from down there can actually happen anytime day or night, depending on the general temperature of a person. It can happen during REM, but is not commonly associated with it at all: there is no connection which has ever been proven. Hope that helps?!

That doesn't make sense at all, why is the 8 yr old asking about *** sweat anyways?? REM really doesn't have anything to do with your body temp and specifically your ***.

LOL. I have never heard of such a thing. The child is very entertaining. You dream during the REM cycle of sleep.

Maybe its true faor all your sweaty areas like armpitts. I reckon its because you go into such a deep sleep that even your pores relax & secrete sweat.
