you asking the quesion answers it. somethings move on, some dont.
since there are more people below me that have no clue lets make it simple since most have never taken the time to look at anything about evolution
Environment is the key. things only evolve when there is a need too. If a fish is in an area where the water is depleating they will evolve the ability to live out of water until the evolution moves to they dont need to be in water at all. In another spot the water is fine there is no need for evolution. Sure sad most evolutionist know alittle about religion but theists have not clue about anything else.

Why dint all things evolve? Because they didn't all live in the same place or have the same experiences. for example, if some retarded Fish-Frogs lived near a lot of trees that had poisonous fruit, the Fish-Frogs that could withstand the poison would live on and pass that gene down, etc, etc. However other Fish-Frogs might have had different experiences, so they didn't evolve that way.

Because not all the retarded fish-frogs evolved. All five of my male housemates can be used as proof of that one!

Kinda like, if Christianity "developed" out of Judaism, why is there stilll Judaism.
And the anti-evolution crowd wonders why people think they're stupid.

This is a problem of evolution. If each species is getting better or evolving to better, why is the inferior still around? It doesn't make sense.

Well if man came from monkeys, why can't monkeys learn sign-language? Oh, um, never mind.
