my niece is sick?
with an ear infection and her mom cant take her to the doctors till later is there anything i can do to make her feel better???

ok you could put water that has fluoride put just a little bit in her ear that hurts then let her lay on that side and that should help.

Here are a couple odd ones I've heard about: Use a low setting on a blow dryer and blow it into her ear. Sometimes that dries out fluid that *may* be causing the ear ache. Another one: Put a little Vick's Mentholatum on a cotton ball and stick it in her ear....but not too far...just enough so it doesn't fall out.
Also, keep the tv down or off and try some kid's Tylenol or Ibuprofen.

Most ear infections clear up on their own. But if she's in a lot of pain, go to the local drug store and ask the pharmacists for some OTC painkillers for kids.

take her to the doctor. How do you know it is an ear infection?
A warm moist towel against her ear and tylenol

there are over the country ear drops you can buy that would relieve the pain. tylonal (sorry im a bad speller) would help to.
