Question about kittens litter box useage?
I have had outdoor kittens B4 but know I have an indoor kitten and she doesn't seem to use the litter box very often maybe 2 or 3 times a day. My question is, Is the kitten not using the litter box and I have hidden land mines somewhere or do they not go to the restroom very often?

If a cat is going outside the litter box, believe me, there's nothing "hidden" about it!
Sounds like everything's fine. Just keep the box clean and she should continue using it quite happily.

As long as she's using it 2-3 times a day she's not going anywhere else. They usually don't go much more than that cuz they don't eat that much when they're kittens. I've always had indoor cats so the one thing I did learn was don't make it too far away from thenm at first--sometimes they forget where it's located--good luck!

no, as long as you've seen her using the litter box before, then she knows where it is and you most likely won't find any land mines around the house. going to the bathroom 2-3 times per day is pretty normal.

Depending on how much and how often you feed your cat, bowel movements 2 or 3 times a day is normal.
Make sure the litterbox is always clean and is always accessible to the cat.

Most cats don't use the litterbox too often, some do but normally they don't. As long as she is going and acting normal, not getting a distended stomach, she's fine. I wouldn't worry.

Some kittens go often, like my kitten. My mother is a vet and says she could be constipated or doesn't have to go often.
If she is going, that means she knows where it is.

Depends on the age of the kitten but that is about normal. Also you might try caging him at night.

why would they go more than that? they are so tiny and don't eat or drink very much, so that is normal!
