Should a weight loss exercise routine also include low resistance weight training as well as cardio?
Primarily I want to lose weight, but I've always been taught that lifting weights (minimal amounts) is important for toning muscles and keeping everything taut as you lose weight. What is your experience regarding this?

Yes, cardio will get your heart going to help burn fat but you also need to build muscle so that your body BURNS calories efficiently throughout the day.
A good exercise program will include both types of activities.

Yes you want to do a combo of everything. Cardio workout to help loose weight and exercise your heart, and weight lifting to help your skin be tight as you loose your weight.

Muscle weighs greater desirable than fat, so in different words, you're becoming to be leaner. the load from fat is being lost on a similar time as the load from muscle is filling the spots in. This contradicts the greater regular fantasy of exercising assisting to drop some pounds. they must say that exercising enables you to lose fat, no longer weight; considering, returned, muscle weighs greater desirable than fat. purely consume healthful, get adequate sleep, and exercising, and you're on a thank you to a greater healthy you!
