Hasn't the Bible been rewritten so many times that we can't trust it anymore? read my ans?
This is a common misconception. Some people think that the Bible was written in one language, translated to another language, then translated into yet another and so on until it was finally translated into the English. The complaint is that since it was rewritten so many times in different languages throughout history, it must have become corrupted. The "telephone" analogy is often used as an illustration. It goes like this. One person tells another person a sentence who then tells another person, who tells yet another, and so on and so on until the last person hears a sentence that has little or nothing to do with the original one. The only problem with this analogy is that it doesn't fit the Bible at all.
The fact is that the Bible has not been rewritten. Take the New Testament, for example. The disciples of Jesus wrote the New Testament in Greek and though we do not have the original documents, we do have around 6,000 copies of the Greek manuscripts that were made very close to the time of the originals. These various manuscripts, or copies, agree with each other to almost 100 percent accuracy. Statistically, the New Testament is 99.5% textually pure. That means that there is only 1/2 of 1% of of all the copies that do not agree with each other 100%. But, if you take that 1/2 of 1% and examine it, you find that the majority of the "problems" are nothing more than spelling errors and very minor word alterations. For example, instead of saying Jesus, a variation might be "Jesus Christ." So the actually amount of textual variation of any concern at all is extremely low. Therefore, we can say that we have an extremely accurate compilation of the original documents.
So when we translate the Bible, we do not translate from a translation of a translation of a translation. We translate from the original language into our language. It is one step, not a series of steps that leads to corruption. It is one translation step from the original to the English or to whatever language a person needs to read it in. So we translate into Spanish from the same Greek manuscripts. Likewise we translate into the German from those same Greek manuscripts as well. This is how it is done for each and every language we translate the Bible into. We do not translate from the Greek to the English, to the Spanish, and then to the German. It is from the Greek to the English. It is from the Greek into the Spanish. It is from the Greek into the German. Therefore, the translations are very accurate and trustworthy in regards to what the Bible originally said.

As you can see, the New Testament documents are very accurate. Therefore, when the scholars translate from the Greek into the English (or into any other language), we can trust that what is translated is accurate and reliable.

It looks to me like you asked a question and you answered your own question. But your answer was very interesting. I once studied another language and bought a bible in that language, just because I didn't trust the KJ version in the american language. The bible I bought was on eBay and it was a NWT version. I didn't know what NWT stood for. I also bought a lutheren bible. I didn't understand why the 2 bibles were so different. After I got to talk to a JW recently, I found out what a NWT bible was.

It's real that the Bible has been translated sometimes however I do think a quality quantity of care has long past into each and every translation. I feel should you appear on the King James variation it was once translated from the fashioned Greek and Latin. A lot of translators you are going to discover have attempted to return to probably the most earliest texts viable to get a real translation, realising that is the satisfactory factor to do. The men and women who actualy wrote the books of the Bible had been all guys of God and in near communiion with God and as a result the Word of God was once talking via them. Occasionally men and women have not obtained a phrase precisely proper. Possibly since for instance there is not any distinctive phrase within the English language, or some thing language, that implies precisely the identical factor, or on a infrequent party they will have made a mistake. If like me you think the Bible is a religious e-book then the spirit will probably be equipped to support you spot via any minor misinterpretations and so forth. Pray for the Holy Spirit to consultant you. The Word will then come alive in a brand new method. Reading the Bible will have to be performed with prayer, you might say a reference to the fashioned writer - the Word (God). "In the opening was once the Word and the Word was once with God and the Word was once God. The identical was once within the begining with God. All matters had been made via Him and with out Him was once now not whatever made that was once made. In Him was once lifestyles and the lifestyles was once the sunshine of guys. And the sunshine shineth in darkneww; and the darkness comprehended it now not." one million John one million:one million-five

Where do you get your misinformation? And who told you the disciples wrote the Bible? It was written 40 plus years after Jesus died, based on stories that had been passed by word of mouth and distorted more and more with each telling. Then the Catholic Church or what passed for the Catholic Church sifted through the various stories that were printed and chose which ones to put into a Bible and which not to. They left our the revealing book of Judas, for instance. By the way, Jesus and all of the Disciples as far as I know, did not speak Greek, so why on earth would you think they would write anything in Greek. Better consult some authorities before you invent an elaborate charade.

This isnt a question really, but more your opinion really. But if you want my opinion: If you look to medieval times, you will see that there actually were translations of translations because some versions were no longer legal and would get you hanged.

Lectio Divina is Latin for “spiritual reading” and represents an early monastic technique of prayer which continues in practice though less widely, intended to achieve communion with God as well as providing special spiritual insights and peace from that experience. It is a way of praying with Scripture that calls one to study, ponder, listen and, finally, pray from God's Word.
History
Lectio Divina was first expressed in the year 220 AD. It was found that to read the Bible profitably it is necessary to do so with attention, consistency and prayer. The systematization of “spiritual reading” into four steps dates back to the 12th century. Around 1150, Guigo II, a Carthusian monk, wrote a book entitled “The Monk’s Ladder” (Scala Claustralium) wherein he set out the theory of the four rungs: reading, meditation, prayer and contemplation. In 2005, Pope Benedict XVI stated, “This is the ladder by which the monks ascend from earth to heaven.”
Method
Lectio is typically practiced daily for one continuous hour. A selection from the Holy Scriptures is chosen ahead of time, often as a daily progression through a particular book of the Bible.
Time
Selecting a time for lectio divina is important. Typical methods are to pray for one hour in the morning, or to divide it into two half-hour periods, one in the morning and one in the evening. The key is to pre-select the time that will be devoted to the prayer, and to keep it. Using the same time every day leads to a daily habit of prayer that becomes highly effective.
Place
The place for prayer is to be free from distractions. This means it should be isolated from other people, telephones, visual distractions, etc. Some find a religious icon to be helpful. The same place should be used for lectio if possible, especially as one first begins to practice it. Familiarity with a location reduces the possibility of distraction away from the prayer. Some practitioners conduct other devotions, such as praying before the Catholic Eucharist, as a preparation for Lectio Divina.
Preparation
Prior to reading, it is important to engage in a transitional activity that takes one from the normal state of mind to a more contemplative and prayerful state. A few moments of deep, regular breathing and a short prayer inviting the Holy Spirit to guide the prayer time helps to set the tone and improve the effectiveness of the lectio.
Once the stage is set it is time to begin the prayer. There are four phases of the prayer, which do not necessarily progress in an ordered fashion. One may move between different phases of the prayer very freely as the Spirit guides.
The Four Moments
Lectio
Read the passage several times.
Meditatio
Reflect on the text of the passage, thinking about how to apply to one's own life. Gravitate to any particular phrase or word that seems to be of particular import. This should not be confused with exegesis, but is a very personal reading of the Scripture and application to one's own life.
Oratio
Respond to the passage by opening the heart to God. This is not primarily an intellectual exercise, but more of the beginning of a conversation with God.
Contemplatio
Listen to God. This is a freeing oneself from one's own thoughts, both mundane and holy. It is about hearing God talk to us. Opening our mind, heart and soul to the influence of God. Any conversation must allow for both sides to communicate, and this most unfamiliar act is allowing oneself to be open to hearing God speak.

Scriptures are given by God and are True from the Beginning
The Holy Scriptures are not the private interpretation of men (2 Pe.1:20 below), but they are given by God through the Holy Spirit.
ALL Scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Pe.1:21, 2 Tim.3:16, 2 Samuel 23:2, Eph.3:5 below).
God’s word is true from the beginning (Ps.119:160 below).
God is the God of truth (Ps.31:5, Deut.32:4, Ps.25:5, Jn.17:17 below).
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Tim.3:16 below).
The spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth (Jn.16:13 below)
If a religious author’s writings do not speak according to the Holy Bible, there is no light in them (Isa.8:20 below).
2 Pe.1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2 Pe.1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Tim.3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Samuel 23:2 The Spirit of the LORD spake by me (David), and his word [was] in my tongue.
Eph.3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Ps.119.160Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Ps.31:5 Into Thine hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
Deut. 32:4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are judgment, a God of truth and without iniquity; just and right is He.
Ps.25:5Lead me in Thy truth and teach me, for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day.
Jn.17:17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
2 Tim.3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Jn.16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Isa.8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.
