What is the best compliment you have received?

"I love you mom"

My five year old son as he laid in bed sick, looking up at me with the most angelic look on his face. Today he is in Iraq and how I long to see him again and to hear these same words out of his mouth. Then, and only then, will I know he is safe.

when i went to the Phantom of the Opera, i had a black dress was dressed to the nines. We went to dinner first and at the dinner a little girl looked at her mom and said "she so beutiful she looks like a princess mommy." I have always thought that was the best compliment ever because young children tell it like it is because they have no sense of tact at such a young age you know. Mommyblues

To this day I'm not exactly sure what happened, by my gf and I were at an entertainment complex that happened to be packed. I was leading her by the hand as it was pretty tight to get through the crowd. As we were walking to get to the bar we passed this group which included two women I really wasn't paying much attention to. Next thing I know she says "B****, I'LL BEAT YOUR A**!" and I turned around and asked what's going on? She told me one of those girls were staring down on me hard trying to get my attention.

I'm not sure if they were staring or not or even if it was them, but it gave me the big head for the rest of the night!

When the younger brother of a close friend of mine, who is now a successful business executive with a prestigious multi-national, told me last week how he idolized me during his years of study and work.

When my bf told me that I am a beautiful person inside and out, and that is the rarest find in a woman. That comment has to have been the sweetest.

i got it tonight, over instant messaging from my friend. he said he loved me, even if i wouldn't date him (he's asked me out before.) he put in the lyrics from James Blunt's You're Beautiful. "you're beautiful. you're beautiful. you're beautiful, it's true. i saw your face, in a crowded place, and i dont know what to do cause ill never be with you."

this was especially effective because we and some of my other friends hung out together today at a bookstore in town hence the "crowded place." The simple "you're beautiful"s were kinda nice to hear. (or read, whatever) he just made me feel special. like i was his one and only.

i havn't gotten a chance to tell him yet, but whenever i think of him now, i think of him and i as us.

the best compliment i've ever gotten was when a guy at work told me that my boobs looked great in a shirt that i wore to the Chrismas party last year... now he keeps checkin' me out...lol

That i am a beautiful and unique person.and that my eyecolor was pretty.its always great to get a compliment. i like your question because then people can talk about themselves,which everybody likes doing! lol

i was working at heating co. one of my calls just so happened to be a friend of the boss no one told me who it was he trusted me a few day later the boss calls me over to him and he's reading a note that the lady sent with the check it said how polite i was and that i was going too be an asset to his co.
