Make a gift basket with some of her favorite things.....coffees, chocolates, lotions, home made cookies (made by you, of course). Just fill it with whatever you think she would like. This gift might take a little effort and creativity, and in my opinion...those are usually the best gifts!!

Aunties who have everything are difficult to buy for but not difficult to make for consider some of these ideas.

    1) A memory book. Go around to various members of the family and ask for stories about happy things that involve your aunt. Get some photos of her as she grew up and also find some lovely sayings and / or quotations to include in the book. Place them all in the book along with some decorations. See websites on scrrapbooking to get ideas about decorating the book.

    2) Buy a beautiful glass bottle and a packet of epsom salts, some essential oil and food colouring. stir the food colour and oil through the salts and place in the bottle. Wellah! You have home made bath salts.

    3) Research amongst family members to find out something your aunty did when she was younger that she no longer or seldom does, ie a sport, dance or singing and buy her some tickets to an event related to that.

I hope these ideas help you and your aunt to have a great Christmas

I found a great sale on Alaskan Crab Legs (6.99 lb) and New York Strips for 3.99 lb. A nice gift would be 1 or 2 steaks (if she has a hubby) and a pound or so of crab with some home made goodies.

I always buy gift cards to people that way they can buy whatever they want or need. I usually get more compliments on gift cards and they are more appreciated and used than actual bulky gifts.

If you are in the US, you can buy gift cards to Target or Walmart.

If your aunt does not shop at those stores, you can get your aunt a gift card to Olive Garden (spend around $75-$100 on it, just in case your aunt goes with someone else to eat)

You can put the gift card wrapped in a little box with a ribbon on top.

Or if your aunt has a sweet tooth, you can bake her handmade cookies and put them in a tin can and wrap it up.

Buy her a memory....tickets to something or somewhere that she would enjoy, especially if she wouldn't buy it for herself (a show, a concert, a festival, etc.) Just an idea :)

How about theatre tickets to go see a show with you.

With her money she would be able to purchase tickets but this is a treat since your company is included.

I think of something that is not expensive at all , very simple and very untraditional, like ..... maybe you can think about it .... how about a small beatiful bird or..... cannot really think harder ...good luck
