Why do girl like gay male as friend?

because they r harmless and they dont just want sex..

Women don't feel threaten by gay men. Yes I have had some gay guy friends in High School. The only thing these guys wanted from me was someone to talk to who wasn't judgmental. Some of my friends wanted to do things like going to the beach, movies, or other places without being alone. Some of them were not ready to tell the world about their sexual preferences. I was a date for them. I could feel safe, not expect anything but friendship & they keep secrets better than my female friends. As for straight guys getting girls, be yourself, don't come on too strong and treat them like you would treat a female member of your family. With respect, politness, and a caring atitude.

A gay guy will listen and offer an honest if sometimes agressive response, and they aren't after your date like a girlfriend. A straight guy could listen more and try to share some of the interests in old movies or concerts but if it's too far from your nature don't force it no one likes a phoney. Good Luck!

I'm a girl and I used to love having a gay guy around. Even now, I know lots of gay guys. They're like another sister and they way they act just cracks me up. But now, a few of them annoys me by being so gossipy and even more sensitive than many girls. That's something straight guys shouldn't copy for sure. But something good about some of them is that you can talk to them about certain things, like guys, without having to worry they will blab about it to everyone (like some girls do) or totally ignore you and think your weird just because they don't check out guys themselves (like some guys do).

One of my best friends is a gay guy. Gay guys are loyal, fun to be with and will have your back in any situation. My buddy and I have been friends since 9th grade an it took him almost 10 years to come out to me, because he was afraid that I would turn my back on him but I love him like a brother and do not care one bit about his sex life. He is a wonderful person and that is all that matters.

Gay guys seem to be really fun. I used to work in this boutique and many gay guys would come in and they seemed to have a more out-going personality. Like they knew who they were and were comfortable knowing. Straight guys need to be more clear about what they really want.

The thing that I think is so appealing for women to have gay friends is that she knows the things he says to her are not so he can get into bed with her. She knows that there will never be any sexual tension between them and he's like a girlfriend to her. They can share interest in the same men without competition. It's simple.

Girls who want to have a male friend but are afraid that all guys only want sex from girls will trust a gay male because they feel safe with him.

Because, "gay guys" actually care about your problems,.. unlike MOST men. And if you're having guy problems, they're always there for you, know whow it feel themselves. [haha] Straight guys are nice to talk to too,but with gay guys, you can just talk, and with straight guys they're most likely in it for hooking up, or for sex.

i guess its sensitivty or the ability to put their feet in the shoes of the opposite sex.

i also think that security might also be in it... since gay guys cant take advantage of any female at all.

if you want girls to be your friends (like the gay guys enjoy) i think you should show them that (1) you are sensitive and (2) that they are very secure with you and that you wont take any advantage of them.

its not allways true.. there are some gay guys that share the same intrests as a female.
