Would you tell me your thoughts on.....?

1) God does / doesn't exist and the reason / explanation,

2) God did / didn't create us and the reason / explanation,

3) if you believe people who believe other than your belief are / aren’t wrong and the reason / explanation.

Update:

I didn’t want to input too much information before I get feedbacks ‘cause it seems to me that, here on Yahoo Answers, some people would just agree with me, or just disagree with me, or attack my opinion / beliefs, etc.

So please also describe who / what you believe God is ;-)

Some of you might be wondering why I’m asking these questions. It has just been being a big question in my life. I am also trying to figure out why some of my acquaintances can’t get their stories straight. Let me take Christianity for example. There are so many different beliefs and each individual seems to think others are wrong, even though Matthew 7:1 & 2 declares, "Do not pass judgment, that you may not be judged; for the way you judge, you will be judged and with what yardstick you measure you will be measured.”

I WILL post my point of view when I choose the best answer but I am still waiting for an interesting and convincing theory. Thanks.

Update 2:

Tempo,

Thank you for your cooperation. I like your explanation to question 3)!!!

Update 3:

My beliefs before I read the answers to my questions were:

1) It is possible that someone Almighty / God exists. I know supernatural force exists. So called “miracles” happened to me a few times. I HOPE God does exist. I don’t know who or what He / She / It is - He might look like Charlton Heston in a white robe, She might move a mountain for us, It might be just a voice from the sky. And if God exists, I think that He / She / It has a great sense of humour. I will know all that for sure on the day I meet and talk to God in person, not ‘cause Bible tells me so. Well, nobody has convinced me that Bible really is God’s words. (If Bible in God’s words exists, it would be 5 pages at most.) I am not that simple minded to be convinced just because I’ve heard someone’s logic or story. I need evidences, I need to see / witness it to believe, for the same reason you wouldn’t accuse someone for stealing without any proof.

Update 4:

2) It doesn’t really matter to me. I will ask God about dinosaurs and evolution and the whole works - just to be curious.

3) I speak out my opinions. I choose what is suitable for me. I disagree at times. But I don’t judge opinions of others. We are all different. That is why the life is wonderful. I’m open to any possibilities. There are always chances that we all might be wrong. God only knows, right?

And that’s my story and I’m still sticking to it.

    1) Does a rock exist? It sits in front of me and I can see it. It has a history that neither I nor any scientist will ever be able to determine it's 'true' origins. I can see it, touch it, feel it,... but even with that... I have to rely only on my SENSES to prove to me that the rock is real. Do I really see it? No,... I 'perceive' a reflection of light on a surface of something from the past. Light takes time to travel from the surface of the rock to my eyes, and then those microseconds for my brain to create a picture of what I saw... by the time I've perceived it, that thing has changed... as have I. The rock is always, to me, a memory of something that I perceived. But to exist in the same moment as the rock, and to perceive the rock simultaneously... is beyond my human capabilities.

Do I believe the rock is real? Yes.

Does God exist?... I would have to ask the ROCK, because 'it' would probably have a far more perceptive and reliable answer than I. I'm far too complex... and if something like a God were to exist, I would suspect that the lowest being in the chain of 'creation', such as a rock, or a wave of light, or an atom or quark...would be far more knowledgeable on the topic than a human brain. The brain is always tripping over itself under the guise of 'logic' and 'emotion'. A rock seems to have much steadier concentration, and time to reflect, without the constant need to eat or have sex or breath. I suspect it would be a far more a reliable source of info than any 'brain'. Of course... I'm way too smart to believe what any 'rock' has to say.... hehe.

When you say "God" you assume some sort of definition of what that is. If it's not a white man with a beard throwing lightning bolts off the tip of His fingers, then what? I believe creation and existence are the only words I need for the miracle of life and the vast cosmos I find myself in. What is it with humans? Is it an ego problem that creation has to have human characteristics? Creation has all characteristics, and you don't see a cat talking about the great litter box in the sky. The sun created us. What created the sun? The remnants from an earlier sun. What started the whole ball rolling? That is the question. I have no problem with calling that God. Opinions of what that actually is diverge into absurdity.

    Those are my thoughts.

    1. God Does Exist, we have a raport, even though I don't always understand and I have hands because of Guardian Angels

    2. God did create us. Please, go buy some parts at Radio Shack and put them into a box and tell me how long it takes for them to shake it into an XBox. That's the Randomist theory, which even Einstein didn't hold with!

    3. What ever gets a person to the right place at the right time is the right thing. I can't say for sure I'm totally right.

    Wow...that's a lot to ask...but okie dokie...here goes...

1.) God does exist! His Word tells us how we got here, who were are & what the total outcome of humanity will be!

2.) God DID create us! For His sole purposes. Since all things (including us humans belong to Him as He is the Creator/Sustainer)

3.) This is the most difficult to answer because the "field" is so wide open..there are so many different beliefs in the world & my own personal reasons for not following the other systems is varied depending upon which system you are refering to at the time.

    1) I believe God doesn't exist because the existence of a being beyond space and time is illogical and there's no evidence.

    2) I don't believe God created us, because I don't believe he existed, and because there is a perfectly reasonable scientific explanation for our existence.

    3) Of course I believe people who believe differently are wrong. That goes without saying. If you belive something, then you must believe that contradictory theories are wrong.

I'll answer number 3 because 1 and 2 would take too long for me to answer. I'm an Atheist and I do believe that people who disagree with me are wrong. No matter what a person believes, they believe themself to be right and people who don't share belief to be wrong. That what a belief is. It wouldn't make sense if someone held a belief and also thought that everyone else's beliefs were correct too.

    1. He DOES exist - it's the ONLY logicial explaination for our existence. The Big Bang theory is exactly that, a theory. Ask yourself, what or who CREATED that giant chasm of swirling gases that supposedly erupted into life. Did it just appear on it's own? How did THAT get there? Astounding that there is no theory for THAT. Only GOD and His omipotence could have.

    2. He created us for the sole purpose to worship and adore Him. He gave us this lovely earth to share and enjoy and to evangelize to non-believers through means EXACTLY like this. In fact, He's orchestrated this very moment, your asking this very question, to reach someone who's reading it, perhaps even yourself.

    3. And of course anyone who doesn't believe exactly what I KNOW to be truth in this exact question, is 100% dead wrong. To allow other beliefs as a viable option negates the meaning of belief.

My reasons and explanations are mine and they are because I choose them. I also have the freedom to change my mind at any time.

    1. For me, God is! Everything that is, is of God. Nothing exists without God. Everything is as it is. Nothing can exist outside of God.

    2. For me God is and I am of God. I make no claim about who God is other than God is love, God is life. I create myself each day, every thought and act are my prayers to God and declarations of who I am.

    3. I believe that each person chooses who they are and what they believe. They also get to choose what is right or wrong for them. My concern is to choose what is right or wrong for me. Each person is responsible for himself and his beliefs and actions.

hello fortuna! (ps, you are not too old ;) grr)

    okay, here goes.

I do not think that god nt exist, i just do not think that he does (if you get me?) There is no explation for thinking that he doesnt exsit, i just think that here is no explation for existance, therefore i do not beleive it personally.

Second, I do think something created us, but not a being. if it was a being/person/god, who created him/her?

I do not beleive that other people are right or wrong, anyone who beleives in anything in their heart by default is correct, who is anyone else to say otherwise? tis is the reason i do not like major religions as they tell me explicily that i am incorrect.

I beleive in spiritualism, if i live my life as well as i cn, dont preach to others and enjiy nature, then if your god sends me to hell for it then i am glad that i never beleived in him.

    xx

right- i have just had to edit this as i have just realised my typing is on override and therefore half of what i said above doesnt make sense, and i cant delete it and rewrite, as it is freakin overwriting!

My dear, first you have to define what you mean by the words god and existence before we'd go any further. First you tell me what god is to you or to which god you're referring to and then I'll tell you if that god is real or not. after that we can go then to your second question. Without clarifications we could be talking gibberish. Unless you promise to en light me if I'm wrong I would not dare to say any thing about any of your questions. If you're talking about all the gibberish uttered on your first two questions, its hard to think logically.
