I am performing Piano Solo for the Centennial Party of our town. And I was wondering if people would get bored if I play two songs which are about 5 minutes long each (10 minutes total).

2. Seven Wicked Reels by Barrage

I was born and raised in Japan as Japanese.

I didn't think of this untill about 5 years ago but I started to suspect my dad might be Korean - from his original family name and the family name his parents had to change to - and his favorite food, etc.

Now, my Japanese is rusty from living in Middle-O'Nowhere, Canada for th past 10 years. But I think I deserve to know my roots...

Would you have any sugestion on the best way to ask him this in Japanese?

One of the students from my vocal training course wants to learn country songs. I told her to pick songs she can relate to, however, all she can come up with is "Hold My Beer"...

I came up with "All-American Girl" by Carrie Underwood and "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews, but I'd like to give her more selection.

My boyfriend’s daughter and son-in-law are buying a ranch and I kind of promised that I help them...

I’ve been helping around the ranch owned by my bf’s brother. Today, my bf had to shoot a calf, which was sick and dying and magpies were already picking on. Now, I don’t have any problem with quick death. I don’t believe in leaving animals suffering. So I wasn’t too emotional even though this happened right in front of me for the first time in my life.

The problem is;

I don’t know if I can shoot or watch someone shoot predators, such as coyotes. I respect nature. And I know how cute puppies are. Unfortunately, we have to protect the ranch and it is necessary to kill them so that they don’t come back while we are gone. My bf figures I would get used to the idea when predators try to kill our cattle.

I have about a year to think about…I love the job so far… I would like to hear your opinions on if I should help them or not. Thanks.

I was just cooking supper in the kitchen. I didn’t know that one of my cats was right behind me and I rightly stepped on his tail. He looked surprised but he looked like he forgave me after I apologized to him.

The other day, I was looking after my acquaintance’s puppy. When she jumped up on my couch, my elbow was in the way and I elbowed her by accident. She looked like she knew it was an accident but I apologized her anyway.

And I was wondering if anybody else apologize to their pets…

I’ve been having hard time sleeping at night and cut down on coffee. But I miss it so much. I was told that there are some good brand decaf which just taste like regular coffee. Since I live in a small town, Canada, only stores I can get to are Co-op, Extra Foods and 7/11. I prefer grinds, not instant.

I have been receiving e-mails on my yahoo account, which I am probably not supposed to be receiving.

The first couple of them was providing extension # of someone’s desk in the company and notifying that he’ll be away from the company on certain days, etc.

The latest one says,

“Stop sending me emails that you say I am sending to you”

even though I have not sent them any mail.
