3 weeks is very young and if your kitten is having difficulty walking and it has an open wound you really need to get her in to see a vet immediately as this is very URGENT. Kittens can become dehydrated very quickly if they are injured and die as a result of this.
Please whatever you do DO NOT USE hydrogen peroxide on an open wound!!! It pushes the bacteria deeper into the wound when it bubbles and makes healing more difficult. ANY VET CAN VERIFY THIS INFO. The best thing to do is to ONLY wash the area with antibacterial soap and water.
Pet store employees are not medically trained so anything they offer should be taken with a grain of salt and when in doubt ask a trained medical professional--a veterinarian.

First a 3-4 week old kitten should be with its mother still. The mother is still helps the kitten go to the bathroom. Kittens have no control over this until they are about 5 - 6 weeks old and still has problems. A kitten that young still needs to nurse and solid food should not be the only thing it is eating. If it has been this way for 2 days that would include Saturday and vets are open on a Saturday. Get her to the vet this morning and I hope they can take care of her. She is very young and this is not good that something like this is happening to such a young kitten. R P CAT

If your kitten really is only 3 weeks, you shouldn't have her yet anyway, as she is too young. You really must take her to the vet if she is suffering. The pet shop isn't going to know anything. It costs money, but that's what you get when you take on a pet.

Poor thing, you may want to take her to the vet especially if we don't know where the wound came from. It can be anything from an abcess to a scratch.
Good Luck

the people at the pet shop don't know anything, most of those people don't have any degrees in animal care at all. take her to a real vet, she's probably in alot of pain.
do you let her outside? she could have gotten it from another animal. wash it before in gets infected.

sounds like it might be round worm, take her to your vet asap
I agree with helly, why would a pet shop even sell a 3 week old kitten, it shouldn't even be weaned yet

Go to the vet ASAP. Her symtoms sound serious especially since you applied dog meds to her, which are probably too strong. Good luck

She may have ringworm or some other type of fungal or other infection. Take her to a Vet for the proper treatment.

Is she three weeks old, or three years old? Either way, she should go to the vet. It's a more dire concern if the kit is only three weeks old.

OMG i know how you feel. if she isn't eating see a vet IMMEDIATLY she can get dehidrated or you will need to force feed her with a bottle asap. as for the wound put poroxide on it and neolsporin. im sooooo sorry please get her to a vet asap!! if she doesnt get food or water soon especially at that age im sorry but the truth is she might die
