What's your % "Best Answer"?
What's your Level in Yahoo Answers, how many questions have you answered, and what's your percentage that got "Best Answer"? You can find out by hovering over your icon.
I'm level 3, answered 300 times, and 12% are best answer.
I'm asking because I'm curious if people who stick around here long enough to get a high level are more likely to end up with better answers.

I have 6,664 (including this one) points. I'm at a level 5. I have answered 905 questions including this one and I have a 43% best answer. And if you really want to know, I've asked 6 questions...And I've been a member since August 25, 2006.

I'm at 20%, although I feel I should be higher! I've lost alot of good best answers to crappy one liners that only won because they were there first and the asker didn't take the time to choose a best answer so it was put up for voting, then the other lazy peopel trying to get points, just choose the top answer because they are too lazy to read through them.
I think that yahoo should re-evaluate this point system. Here are some ideas:
Eliminate voting for yourself. Or voting all together. Force the askers to rate their questions, before answering or asking another.
Oh I'm at level 2 btw.

It is currently about 17 percent. I am level 5, trying to make 6 tonight, I have answered 1783 so far, but hope to break 1900 tonight.
My BA percentage has been much higher, but was down to 21 before I started chasing a coffee mug.

Source(s): As you can see by comparing my #s to that of the person immediately after me, there is no direct correlation with Level attained and Best Answer %. I have been on answers for almost a year and have become somewhat more selective about which questions I choose to answer, and I will invest the time to go back to see if the asker has added details (as I have just now). - How do you think about the answers? Im level 7...9% and you can put your cursor on my avatar for the other info. Ive answered alot of questions. Dont know the exact number.

There is a lot of info on this thing but it does take time to run into it. I find it hard to believe a person could get close to 50% best here. I'm surprised mine is 17%. This is entertainment for a lot.

I am level 4 and have about 30% best answer rate. I used to be something like 9 % "best answer" but have gotten selective about what kinds of questions I answer and, if a lot of people already answered, then I don't answer since "best answer" tends to be one of the 1st 10 answers.
