Why do some men spit in the urinal before they pee in it?

Because men are absolutely disgusting.

lol you notice that all the ladies decided to try to answer this one. Like they would know or something. Anyways. just as this is a place to pee the urinal might as well be a place to spit I mean they're both bodily fluids and where else would you spit?

I don't know either, but I've seen my husband do it as well. Maybe they're checking for wind speed? Nah, that can't be it - this miss too often!

And that's another thing... How can they possibly miss a circle as wide as the toilet with a little stream of urine? Don't they pay attention?

Because if you have to spit and you are indoors a urinal is a good a place as any.

I'm a guy, and I don't understand spitting...unless you are working out or playing an outdoor sport. Do other guys just get that much phlem that they need to spit?

Well you don't want them spitting on the floor do ya?

It might be a salivary response that they have developed over the years.

If they are hocking up a big loogie they may want a target.

Just another way to mark their territory!

I have often wondered that myself. Obviously, it is a habit, but equally obviously, there is no reason to do so.

They might have snuff or chewing tobacco in their mouth.
