Tips for dry hands?
I work in a hospital, so I have to wash my hands a lot. I have to use the antibacterial soap that the hospital provides, and it dries my skin out completely. Lotion helps, but not a lot since it gets washed off every time. Does anyone know of any lotions that would survive multiple washings or any other tips to help? The skin gets so dry that most lotions actually sting. Any medical professionals have a trick they use?

A lot of OTC lotions don't work well because they wash off. Look through your medical supply catalog and see if they have anything that's hospital (multiple hand washing) strength.
Here's "Gloves in a bottle"

Link from a dental supply that has some lotion ideas.

I am NOT a medical technician but I have been a nail technician..and my best advise is... Paraffin wax! Try getting hold of a do-it-yourself machine. You will love how it feels! Turn it on..melt the wax an dip your hands in a couple of times and wrap them in plastic then in mitts and after @ 20 Min's your hands will feel GR8. You can thank me l8r...LOL...Good Luck

use a emollient that contains 10 percent of urea like nutraplus cream or ureacare cream
