Is National Geographic owned/managed by Jews?

I find it odd that the National Geographic Channel is airing programs about Jesus' secret life only a week before Christmas. Noted, I haven't seen the programs yet (they will air beginning on the 17th), but the advertisements seem to be trying to sway Christians from what they know/believe.

This is a serious question. Not trying to step on toes. It's a known fact that the two religions disagree. (Note that I am neither.)

It's a non-profit, so it is owned by its board of directors.

A review of its board of directors reveals some Jewish names, some non-Jewish names:

    So not really.

Would it matter if it was? I live in Los Angeles and know quite a few people who work in television. Their only secret agenda is to increase their ratings so their ad revenues will go up.

That's it. The big secret's out. They'll air anything controversial as long as it might, possibly, bump their ratings. They're not trying to brainwash anyone. In fact, television didn't start this whole reevaluation of the life of Jesus phenomenon. That's been around for decades. The only thing that's changed is Dan Brown brought it into the consciousness of pop culture. TV's just along for the ride.

The National Geographic Society is neither owned nor managed by Jews.

Television programs are scheduled to coincide with times when there is interest in the content.

What better time than Christmas to air programs about Jesus?

Well, yes, sort of. Rupert Murdoch's News Corp owns 50% of the National Geographic Channel.

Good question, cuz as we know, ONLY Jews would ever disagree with Christianity, right? Oh yeah, and Muslims. And Hindus. Ok, only Jews, Muslims and Hindus would EVER disagree with Christianity, right? Uh, and Buddhists. Shintoists of course. Pagans too. All right fine, only Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoists, and Pagans would EVER disagree with Christianity, right? Oops, and atheists. And agnostics. FINE. Only Jews, Muslims, Hindus.....oh nevermind. If you dont get my point now, you're not going to.

P.S. Rupert Murdoch, the 50% shareholder, (as previously noted) is an Australian born Christian of Scottish ancestry.

You really find it that odd? It's called programming. You launch programming so that the timing is effective in terms of viewer interest, ok? It's neither rocket science nor conspiracy. Jeez.

Why are you attacking the Jews? Your question appears that way. Do you not know that Jesus himself was a Jew and do you not understand the the Jewish people ARE still GOD'S chosen people. Christianity stems from the Jewish faith. Keep in ming that in the Bible God makes it pretty clear that whoever curses Israel (Jewish) will receive curses (I think maybe 10 fold, not sure about how severe, but I could look it up if you want) and whoever blesses Israel (Jewish) will be blessed.

The presentations you speak are come from Gnostic belief, not Jewish belief.

    Note - I am a Christian

Work for peace and help the poor and needy as Jesus would have done and quit trying to cause trouble over an insane issue of no importance
