In my opinion LT still isnt old enough to be classified as a veteran...

my vote goes to Rod Smith of the Denver Broncos. He is always out there working with the younger players, even at his old age he was returning punts last year because the Broncos did not have a punt returner. He actually made the effort to push for the Broncos to go out and get another WR knowing it would take away from his playing time. The man loves the game, knows the game, and wants to win.

Other people brought up, Tiki Barber, yea he's good, but lets also remember he's retiring after this year while hes still in his prime

Brett Favre? How's his team doing? I love Brett Favre, I think he is a great QB and a great person to have in the game, but I think his days as a starting QB are behind him.

I have to go with LT - Ladanian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers. He has been in the league for 6 years and he has set records for most touchdowns in a single season (29 and counting) and fastest player to score 100 touchdowns in a career. He is also only 2 points behind the legendary Green Bay Packers Jack of all trades - Paul Hornung who set single season point record of 176 points in a season - a record that has been on the books for 46 years. This is where the big difference comes in... In 1960, Paul Hornung scored 176 points in only 12 games on 15 touchdowns, 15 field goals and 41 extra points. In 2006, Ladanian Tomlinson has rushed for 26 touchdowns, received 3 touchdowns and, for good measure, passed for 2 more touchdowns in 16 games.LT's Current Touchdown total is more than 17 other teams have scored all season!

LT can run for touchdowns, receive touchdowns and pass for touchdowns. He is a team player and he does not ever show anybody up.

He is, in my opinion, the best veteran in the NFL and the MVP this year.

Bryant Young, because he has been in the league for 13 years, and he is still getting 6-8 sacks a year.

farve's not bad himself...its just his team...i think he should retire already and get himself into the hall of fame...thats is just how good he is...

i still think LT is the best veteran rite now...have you heard about his record breaking touchdowns in a season...and yea he is also the leading rusher...LT too is also a future hall of famer
