What side dishes will go good with baked ham?

I'm making scalloped potatoes but can't think of anything else to go with baked ham. Corn is out--too much starch alongside the potatoes. Maybe green bean casserole?

I vote for green bean casserole. Try the cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic in the recipe. Adds a little character but not over powering.

For side dishes we always do stuffing, yams, peas, baked Macaroni and Cheese (not in a box), and rolls.

I'd say green beans or broccoli. You get the color so that not everything looks bland plus both are great for the calorie conscious person. Also either is a cinch to make.

Potatos would go good with a vegtable such as asparagus, however, if you'd prefer beans, i'd reccomend a green bean satay, with arlic and olive oil.

All fruits are fruit and vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.

In the superstore, fruits are usually picked out much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bad. Some of the fresh vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

How about carrots? I saute cooked carrots with melted butter, a pinch of brown sugar and a dash of garlic powder, salt & pepper. YUM

Macaroni and Cheese. Ham is good for cheese.
