OK, now I'm desperate. Need party platter help?

I need to know how many pounds of cold cuts/cheese I need per person to make platters for around 50 people. I need the amount for each individual meat/cheese.

Based on all the info below, I'd say get at least 13-14 pounds of cold cuts. And maybe 7 pounds of cheese...

If this is all that's being served though, and there will be a lot of men I would probably get a little more.

3-4 oz of sliced deli meat per person will make a good sized sandwich. So, one pound of meat will serve 4-5 people. For cheeses, I'd ask at the deli counter how many slices of cheese are in a pound and just be sure that you get enough cheese for 2 slices per person. Figure a quarter pound of sliced meat per person. The one problem with this calculation is that you are likely serving a

variety of meats and you don't know who is going to eat roast beef, who is going to eat ham, or who is going to eat salami. While you don't have to have full portions of each, with adult guests, you can assume that you're likely going to go through more roast beef, turkey and ham than salami or bologna.

Figure 2-3 slices of several types of cheese per person. Read more here: http://www.partyplansplus.com/partyplans/quantitie...

I've changed the serving size to 50: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/antipasto-platter/det...
