For religious zealots to get the 'hump' with answers that are asked on here, surely they should respect other peoples sense of opinion/humour, not everyone is the same, hence us asking each other questions, wanting to educate ourselves on different aspects of life . . . sorry, just had 11 thumbs down for an answer i gave that was supposed to be initially light hearted, but it has really annoyed me with the response it received . . . anyhow, have a good un
Silverbirch, it wasn't supposed to be a 'joke' as such, just an observation, your all right tho' we should stick to answering questions about 'my puppy has lost a limb, should i take him to the vet?" type questions
Apart from the Diana reference, the other two were premeditated, her accident was deemed just that, an accident, unless you listen to that Al Fayed bloke

To be honest I do not care what the answers are as long as they are not personally offensive or belittling people. There are certain high scorers who really hack me off because they think they have the right to lecture others on here and act as if they are Yahoo police.

There are some subjects that some people don't have a sense of humour about. The subjects will differ from person to person, but three likely contenders are the Holocaust, 9/11, and the death of the Princess of Wales. They are subjects that people don't like to see flippant comments about. So if you make one, you can expect to get a few thumbs down.

Having been at the wrong end of some humpy religious zealots comments before I would agree. It's only because they have a high opinion of themselves and think they have a "god given right" to quarrel with anybody who has a different belief. I am non-religious and believe life is for living and if there is a supreme being who created everything then I believe he/she wouldn't be so fickle if I didn't sing their praises.
Sorry to hear about the 11 thumbs down. But keep trying, between us we may make them all non-believers yet.

Sometime I have found that humor and religion don't mix with some people. Take heart and continue to be funny. Even if no one else gets it you still had a good laugh. As the saying goes
**ck them if they can't take a joke.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
You expressed yours, and they expressed their's back by thumbing down.

Humour is VERY hit and miss on here.
It wasn't a great joke, though, was it?
