What vacation would you choose? 10 days in Europe or 7 nights at a Deluxe Resort in Walt Disney World?

I'm having the hardest time deciding.

I'm an addict to WDW and go every year and my mother said that if I go to Europe then we can't go to WDW too. I really don't want to break my tradition of going to WDW and I love it. But, I really want to go to Europe.

What would you choose?

Well, I can honestly say that if it were my decision I'd choose to stay at Walt Disney World for a week at one of the Deluxe Resorts. People on here apparently don't understand that Walt Disney World is the number one vacation destination on Earth and that one could literally spend weeks there and not do everything there is to do on property. See, I'm still young (just barely turned 20,) so I just don't find it as appealing to go to a foreign country where I don't really understand the customs and definitely don't understand the language. I mean, I have no doubts that you'd have an amazing, memorable time in Europe, too, but it's just so different. I'd much rather wait to go to Europe until I'm a bit older, when I'll be more appreciative of everything I see and learn. Plus, this year is the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration at Walt Disney World... I know I really wouldn't want to miss that! And anyone who has been to Walt Disney World knows that you can see the world there! There's the World Showcase with all the different Pavilions, and people from all over the world visit the Theme Parks. There's so many people there from other countries, including the Cast Members, it's hard to not get carried away and actually feel like you're in a whole other country or World.

I'm sorry, I understand that traveling to another country sounds more fun to most people, but many of these other answers seem sarcastic, as if you're crazy for even asking the question. They just don't know what it's like to be a Walt Disney World addict. No, you can't just hop in a car and drive to Europe, but many can't just jump in a car and drive to Walt Disney World. In fact, I have to fly to Walt Disney World, and if I didn't I'd end up spending twice as much on gas to get there and on a hotel room because it would take longer than a whole day for me to drive there. Also, a Walt Disney World vacation is really expensive. Unless you're a Florida resident and have an Annual Pass, you really can't just hop in your car and go whenever you'd like.

Whatever you choose, I know you'll have a great time. But it's the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration, and you'd really be missing out if you skipped going to Walt Disney World this one year. You could always go to Europe next year. And if you do go to Europe you could go to the Disneyland Park in Paris, but I've heard awful reviews from the Disney Parks outside of the U.S. You know I'd definitely choose Walt Disney World over Europe. I'm not going to explain why - you understand just as much as I do why Walt Disney World is such an incredible place.

    Hope I could help!

Get out there and see the world, Europe is amazing I'd choose that any day over some Disney resort!

There is so much culture and history for you to discover and do now while your young!!

There will be other years when you can go to WDW. One year of breaking the chain isn't going to hurt! Go see the World!!!

considering that you have already went to WDW you should go to Europe and experience it for the first time and 10 days is a lot more then 7 days hahaha(i know that shouldn't count but it still does to me) but still as they say you should always try new things and besides maybe you might get hooked on to going to europe and want to go there from now on. hope that helps :)

    Europe. Hands down.

There is only so much to do at Disney World. I think I'd have fun for 2 days and would be bored for the last 5.

There is so many more things to do in Europe. Go there and enjoy yourself. Have fun!

Go to Europe. Stay away from France as they don't care for Americans. I would suggest a train tour thru the UK or a trip thru southern Germany. The Alps and Black Forrest, and a Castle that was used as the design for the Disneyland castle are all there. Switzerland and Austria can be pricey, but are equally as beautiful as southern Germany.

I think it's time you went to Europe. You won't be disapointed. Although only 10 days is a bit of a rip-off. I was lucky I got to stay for a month, and I hardly got to see everything there, but I got to experience a new way of life. I would take 10 days in Europe seeing real castles that were the homes of real kings and queens, rather than a fake castle with a fake fairy on wire. Trust me it's better.
