How do I get rid of shoulder bumps on a dress?
I bought this new dress and they only had one in my size, but the shoulders have hanger bumps on them that makes it look weird. I cannot lauder it 'cause the instructions say to dry clean.... Would taking it to the dry cleaners help?? Any suggestions on how to get rid of the bumps from the hanger

If the home remedies don't work. Call a few good cleaners in your area, ask them if they have a press only service. about 50 to 75% of what full service would cost. Bring it in show them the bumps, tell them that is the main reason for bringing it in. They will be gone. Hang the dress on a mens suit hanger that is wide at the ends so the next time you take it out of the closet they won't be there.

Lightly dampen the area that has the bumps and lay something heavy on top to flatten out the bumps and let it dry.

set your iron on steam and lightly press it. When you rehang it be sure to pad the hanger so it won't happen again. If you are afraid of the material sticking to your iron, place a tea towel between the iron and the dress.

Wet/dampen a wash cloth and put it over the humps to dampen them and let dry. That’s it. This is my biggest pet peeve and so simple for people to correct.

cut the shoulder pads out. Do it carefully so you dont put a hole in the shoulder part of the dress.
