I can't find nice clothing for my neice - she's a "plus" size 2 and a half yr old. She fits in a size 8 (!)

But 8s are too long - and of course too grown up for her. She's tall for her age, but not that tall! Has anyone found a store or online site that has nice things for oversized young girls? Thanks.

I am in the same boat with my daughter. She is a little chubby, but she is also big for her age. (size 11 to 11.5 shoe, and 7/8 in clothes.) Dresses and skirts work the best. For jeans, I roll them into cuffs and sew little stitches to keep them from coming undone. You could also cut off the excess length on pants and hem them.

I am sorry but this is not pointed at you. But what the hell are her parents feeding her? My son is a 3 1/2 but fits into 4/5 clothing only because of his height. Instead of getting her clothes get her some kiddie exercises equipment(trampoline, jump rope, little wieghts, etc). Target sells it usually on one of their end caps. I feel so sorry for this little girl. Her parents should be facing charges of neglect. Childhood obesity is not something to be joked with and it only gets worse as they grow older. If her parents are not helping her someone else should. I can only imagine what she is going to go through when she goes to school.

I have twins and one is a little larger (1 size ) than the other. To be honest you will probably have to purchase clothing that has elastic instead of zippers/buckle. At that size the poor little thing would feel better with dresses and clothing that is stretchy.

first you need to talk to this little girls parents and they need to change this little girls diet that is scary my 8 year old son wears a size 9 and i can't even imagine how big this little girl is if they don't change her eating habits soon she can become sick and have serious health issues you shouldn't really worrie about her clothes you shoul be worried about her health, i don't think they make clothes for overweight toddlers so your just gonna buy big and hem good luck

She' a "plus" size 2 or 2 & 1/2, or a 2 1/2 yr.old which it isn't clear to me? But to answer ur ? check Baby's -r-us or any baby boutique's strictly for babies thru toddlers. Or learn to sew.

OMG! I think you are going to have to buy size 8, and then have the clothes hemmed/altered. a dry cleaner can do it for you cheaply, or you can find a seamstress. You can let the seams out as she gets taller.

I think you will just have to make something yourself. Or cut and sew the size 8s.
