That would have to be a very talented rooster and a dirty shame that it rolled off the roof in the first place.....because where's the solid proof once it's gone?

Well, *if* a rooster laid an egg, we'd better hope it'd roll off and break, 'cause otherwise we might end up with a Basilisk!
(according to some legends a basilisk comes from a snake's egg hatched by a rooster, but others claim it's from an egg laid by a rooster, hatched by a snake, preferably in a dung heap... and in Medieval times, once a rooster was killed because someone believed it'd laid an egg... old legends are fun stuff :))

If a rooster lays an egg, I don't care where it lands, as long as I have a video camera to record the event so I can sell it to science.

Roosters are adult males. of course, adult males won't be able to reproduce. yet when a fowl laid an egg it may matter on what attitude the egg and roof were at. If the egg replaced into tilted left then of course it may roll left. Get it?

A rooster doesn't lay eggs, but if they did, it would roll to the right because those weather cock things are always facing the left aren't they?
