As for McCain, in recent years he has done some dumb things hand in hand with dems. A great example of that is not only co-sponsoring the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform but then insisting on championing the cause of it over many other causes when public opinion didnt even put campain finance reform anywhere near the top 10 important issues.

In nearly 25 years in Congress, John McCain has earned an average approval score of 82 or 83% from the American Conservative Union. He opposes abortion, gay marriage and lifting the ban on gays in the military, and he voted to confirm Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas. Why is he a liberal Republican?

Yah, McCain is too far left. He makes Republicans look bad.

I'm in favor of Congressman Tom Tancredo for Prez. Or Condoleeza Rice. They don't seem to have 'stupid' in their genes.
