Yes Social Distortion is one of my favorite bands. I dont block people I dont thumbs down them unless I disagree with that specific answer. immature people like Blankittybloop - blocked me first answer to a question of his. Kai ツ - he asks why conservatives can dish it out but cant take it. i answer I have never reported him and he blocks me. lol hes dishing it out but cant take GOP CLOWN SHOW 2012 - I guess he is a clown Beretta Jetfire .25 who blocked me the first answer I gave to his/her question. †♥Goddess JR†♥Native †♥Pride†♥ and Law Man says let the FACTS rule obviously he doesnt like facts who like to block people who give real answers are sad. Beer Party - probably a second account of one of the others Liberal and Proud - probably yet another duplicate account who knows Navajo multiple accounts and calling people whiteyscum all the time ? . Apparently when I showed they asked an irrelevant question, by providing facts, they decided to block me

  • Does the consitution law out an individuals rights or the governments rights?

A previous question askied what constitutional right would you give up. I answered that the constitution covers what the governments rights are not whta the individuals is. and of course i got a bunch of thumbs down. people dont know what the constitution even is apparently.

Here is the text of the first amendment... you tell me is it talking about what individuals can and cannot do or is it talking about what government can and cannot do

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"

  • Justice Ginsburg says Roe v. Wade was a flawed ruling .. ?

So a few days ago Ginsburg, arguably one of the most liberal Justices of teh Supreme Court now and maybe ever says Roe v Wade was flawed and too sweeping. not that she disagrees with a womans right to chose. but feels judicial restraint should have been excercised and the ruling should have only addressed the case at the time.

It was a bit surprising to hear. and also garnered a bit of respect for Ginsburg as i think judicial restraint has been lacking in alot of the courts lately...

    opinions .. ?

  • Is the countries economic woes a problem of spending or a problem of taxation?

So in 2001 tax revenue was 1.991T spending was 1.862T. by the end of teh Bush era revenue was 2.523T but spending was 2.982T.

    2012 est revenue 2.468T , spending 3.795T.

Tax revenue has overall increased over the last 12 years. not alot but some. spending has nearly doubled.

The numbers to me show that there is no other conclusion than to say we have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. the fed government has been trying to spend their way to prosperity for over a decade now and judging by the unemployment rate, the housing market, and multiple other factors it doesnt appear to have worked.

  • Do we need gun control laws for the secret service?

Apparently a secret service agent travelling on Romneys charter plane left his gun in the crapper and it was found by a CBS reporter.

Was he just playing with his equipment?

  • Are you for pro legalization of pot?

Alot of people say pot is safe but maybe there is more to it....

New study By Duke Univerysity and Kings College London shows persistent pot usage lowers IQ, particularly if you started smoking in your teens.

It also noted attention and memory problems.

And quitting smoking it did not lead to recovering intellectual function.

This study tested the same group of people starting at age 13 until they were 38 years old periodically testing them.

  • So Eric Holder and the Dept of Justice decide not to prosecute Goldman Sachs.. is it just about money?

the SEC already fine Goldman Sachs 550 million dollars. The Senate Investigation committe under Carl Levin said among other things that Sachs "..created conflicts of interest with the firm’s clients and at times led to the bank’s profiting from the same products that caused substantial losses for its clients.”

Levin Said they misled congress and investors.

Yet the DOJ released a statment saying that there is not a viable basis for criminal prosecution of Goldan Sachs or its employees. Eric Holder defended the DOJ saying they had brought 2100 matters involving mortgages in the DOJ and the nottion that they are being inactive in the matter is troublesome.

The administration was quick to fine Goldman Sachs but isnt going to try and prosecute them.....

Goldman Sachs made 75% of its political donations to Obama and the DNC in 2008, this year they have given 70% of their donations to republicans.

Taking it easy on Goldman Sachs to try and get some money back into the campaign coffers perhaps?

Is it just about the money? do they really care about punishing abuses on Wall Street?

  • Romney's tax plan , did you do your research or just repeat something you heard?

Since I have seen no less than 4 questions about Romney's tax plan robbing from the poor to give to the rich in just the last 20 minutes. Did you guys check up on it? read the plan? Read any other views other than the Obama view?

    Perhaps another view -

Flat-out lies on Romney's tax plan , from Diana Furchtgott-Roth - former chief economist at the U.S. Department of Labor and Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Researchhttp://washingtonexaminer.com/flat-out-lies-on-rom...

  • Do people understand the basic economics of taxation and spending.. ?

Do people understand that if you spend more than your income it does not matter how much your income is?

People want to raise taxes on the weathiest .. some want to raise them on everyone.. But most who want to raise taxes will not face the hard fact that spending has to be cut.. alot. Or is it that they just do not understand this basic econimic principle.

from 4 years in a row the federal goverment under Bush and Obama have spent more than 1 trillion more than they collected in revenue. Raise taxes on the weathy maybe you make a few billion. Does that solve a problem? no it does not.

Why will people not face the real problem?

  • So the Chick Fil-A issue... is it right for a mayor to ban them ... ?

becuase the owner is a christian and is against gay marriage?

How about if it was a business ran by an atheist who was against gay marriage?

or a pagan who was against gay marriage?

How about if it was a muslim organization? they are against gay marriage.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino who had stated his intention to keep Chick Fil-A out of Boston

previously granted the building of a Mosque in Boston. Not only that but donated over a milllion dollars of city land for the Mosque, he attended the ribbon cutting and gave a speech.

one of the leaders of the mosque has at one time stated that gay marriage is wrong and should be punished by death.

So what is it about this this crazy leftist mayor and his issue with Chick Fil-A?

  • Post office might miss payment to retirees. are they looking for a bailout?

Last year Obamas plan to help shore up USPS was to have them close on saturdays, no deliveries.

To raise postage rates. And to do some creative accounting where they gave back an overpayment and they deferred a retiree payment.

I am not critical of all of that. something had to be done. However the accounting part was pretty sketchy and had some criticism that USPS needed reform and this wouldnt solve the problem.

USPS scheduled to end Saturday deliveries after the end of the year.

However the problem is hitting quicker. USPS cant make its 5.5 billion dollar payment and retirees may not get their money. USPS may default on its payment.

The Obama administration really isnt solving the problem , just putting a bandaid over problems

  • So how is the TSA and Homeland Security doing with protecting the borders and the airways ?

Alot of controversy awhile back over TSA groping kids and grandmas and then of course we have the recent fast and furious issue with the DoJ and a homeland security border patrol agent murdered.

    Well how they doing now?

Looks like the new executive order dream act is going a step further with the TSA.

They approved 25 illegal aliens for flight training.. ad a school owned by an illegal alien.

    http://cnsnews.com/news/article/tsa-let-25-illegal...

And homeland security... they protected us recently from two dangerous smugglers on the canadian border. they were .. gasp... smuggling some chocolate candy treats home for their family.

  • So how about that Obama Jobs Council and creating jobs... how they doing?

This has not been a show council. This has been a work council,” Obama declared during the January 2012 session, where the panel presented a report containing more than 60 recommendations aimed at stimulating job creation.

“I have been tracking implementation of your recommendations. And we’ve seen substantial progress across the board,” Obama added. “Hopefully, we’ve at least met your expectations in follow-through and implementation; what we haven’t seen is a bunch of white paper sitting on a shelf somewhere collecting dust.”

    Fast forward 6 months.

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0712/78637.ht...

Jobs Panel missing in action.. panel hasnt met in six months.

Some excutives appointed to the panel have been involved in outsourcing.

I guess Obama and his experts are too busy with the campaign and digging up Romneys tax records to work on jobs issues.

  • Is this just more proof that Nancy Pelosi is an 1diot?

Nancy criticizes the contempt of congress charge against Eric Holder. She claims she could have had Karl Rove arrested any time she wanted for contempt of congress. Problem is.. Rove was never found to be in contempt of congress.

She also mentions the Terry issue as being political and that all Dems want are jobs.. I guess she forgets that she said unemployment and foods stamps were about jobs.

Nancy is one of the biggest idiots in congress.

  • So did Obamacare solve any problems really?

G20 countries credit ratings to be lowered if "..if their governments fail to enact reforms to curb rising healthcare spending.."

This includes Japan the USA and several European countries. So here we go ahead with the treat of another downgrade and not just us. Apparently Japan is facing welfare spending alone at being 22% of their GDP.

The week Obama care was passed ehealthinsurance had plans ranging from 89$ to 809$ for healing insurance plans for me. two weeks ago the same plans were 126$ to 1249$.

  • If you were for raising taxes/against extending the tax cuts .... ?

what do you expect that raising taxes would accomplish?

Do you believe that raising taxes would create jobs somehow? .. if so how.

Or do you believe that somehow the debt would be paid down ? assuming raising taxes generated more money, which it historically hasnt really shown to do

What is it that you believe it would accomplish??

  • So is the AZ immigration law unfair?

    Came across this

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Amnesty International called the abuse of migrants in Mexico a major human rights crisis Wednesday, and accused some officials of turning a blind eye or even participating in the kidnapping, rape and murder of migrants.

..Central American migrants are frequently pulled off trains, kidnapped en masse, held at gang hideouts and forced to call relatives in the U.S. to pay off the kidnappers. Such kidnappings affect thousands of migrants each year in Mexico, the report says.

At present, Article 67 of Mexico's Population Law says, "Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues."

And there is about half a dozen articles that could be linked regarding murders by the cartels. I guess I cant blame immigrants for wanting to get the hell out of there, however the usa .. even this AZ law.. treats immigrants better than Mexico does.

Mexico requires their officials to demand you prove your right to be in the country.
