What kind of art and music do you like, and why?

many believe that visual stimuli is pleasing to us becuz ti reminds us of past experiences, this is why ad companies associate certain images to sell their products, the easiest link is the beer and hot women ads, drink our beer and youll get a hot woman, etc. so we see a beautiful sunset and it maybe reminds us of a time we saw a nice sunset with a loved one or when we had sjtu experienced a nice event, smell has recently been discovered to be the strongest trigger of memory recollection. i believe ths ame occurs with music it reminds us of a past event, otherwise why listen to the same songs over and over, and especially with lyrical music th word Can conjure up certain memories as they are intended to do

I like foreign music. The kind you find in the world section. In my iPod you'll find French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, Arabian, and English music. This is mostly because I am foreign too, and because American radio stations play the same crap for far too long so I look elsewhere in the world for music.

Also, I am influenced by Russians, Spanish, Portuguese and French in a daily basis. The people I surround myself are from these places, so that explains a lot.

In French I like Alizee, she's a twentysomething sweet girl who sings techno/pop.

In Italian, there are various genres, Tiziano Ferro is pop, Il Divo is classical, Andrea Bocelli is also classical, Laura Pausini is ballads, etc.

Russian is mainly techno. No surprise there.

About art, it's quite broad. I like a bit of Salvador Dali and other abstract art. But I enjoy more photography... I can spend hours at photo.net.

My favorite artwork is Mexican art. I saw a piece about 10 years ago I loved, sorry I don't know the name for you, but it had about 10 jungle animals and was in the jungle, and the animals and jungle were painted in just unbelievably riotous bright color, every color in the rainbow and then some, just gorgeous! And that started my love of Mexican art...

To continue in that theme I also love vibrant music as well, any music as long as it is fast and vibrant. I love Celtic music, but usually more of the dancehall stuff. I love Gwen Stefani, Fergie, etc., music you can dance to or at least imagine you are dancing to it.

I don't remember what the painting is called but it was of two children on a hill in the country during summer time. the tall grass seamed to be flowing in the gentle breeze and the children didn't seam to be brother and sister, it was almost as if they were each other's first childhood crushes. they had just finished playing a game.

i loved it because it seamed so real, like the children could have jumped out of the picture and continued playing right there in the gallery.

"What a Wonderful World" would be the song, and the artwork would be a black and white photo of a pathway in a forest, but the only thing in color is the flowers and sunshine. I think it represents the beauty in life.

I love experimentation, improvisation, exploration of the psyche. I love music and sound compositions that taunt and exploit emotions. I love toilets that are called 'Fountain'...

Anything that reminds me I am human, and cherishes the idea that we are unpredictible weird odd creatures makes me happy...

Of course, I also find myself absorbed in the sound of the rain water cascading down a drainage pipe...

I love pop art because Andy Warhol is one of my favorite artists and he was so eccentric, and eccentric art is interesting. My favorite song right now is "Upgrade U" by Beyone' because who doesn't need improvement nowadays!?!

sure surely. any expression of what you're feeling interior with the aid of a medium (medium which ability with the aid of paint, dance, writing, songs) is seen an artwork. music is the ingenious expression of the musician with the aid of his/her musical notes, contraptions tones, and lyrics.

i like pop art because its so colorful and interesting and BAM!
