Where presidential candidates stand on illegal immigration.?

Does anyone know where I can find out just what each candidate's policy is on illegal immigration?

Update:

These are some really good answers. Moondog55, sadly I have to agree. Truckjump, the site is great..but a lot of work, lol. Fox, I'm afraid you are right on. That is about it, in a nut shell.

But if only one person would stand up I truly believe they would be elected. Might have to be non-party affiliated.

Here's a site that gives you a breakdown on the 2008 candidates stand on illegals. Doesn't look too good so far, except for Romney..

there is no longer one. Bush helps a fence, yet desires to grant amnesty to unlawful immigrants who're already here. Democratic applicants attempt to do it with international kinfolk. regardless of candidate you pick could be vote casting against paying Mexico for each guy or woman who makes it into our united states. regardless of candidate you pick could paintings on making criminal immigration uncomplicated adequate that individuals do no longer could desire to come again illegally and could be paying taxes while they paintings here. regardless of candidate you pick could vote to create a gadget the place employment counsel can and could be verified in the past employment and people who do no longer use it lose their license to do corporation and are criminalized for a 2nd offense. initiate gaining knowledge of and greater effective than that, initiate speaking with politicians and tell them what you pick and how you pick it. that's the only thank you to locate somebody who represents your ideals.

  • Do you really think that it matters? Our last congressional session should have proven to you that our leaders, regardless of party, have already decided their course of action, no matter of the will of the people. They're coming, we're paying for them, end of story.

I imagine moondog is right. The only way we will know is to wait for the debates and see if they answer then.

They don't, too scared, they don't want to loose big vote states and swing states. touchy subject for politicians.

I would suggest looking into McCain if he runs, or Giuliani.
